BIJELI LUK-ČEŠNJAK---GARLIC


Češnjak

Češnjak također utječe na razinu triglicerida i općenito, kolesterola u krvi.

Osim toga što štiti naše krvne sudove od začepljenja, češnjak sprečava stvaranje krvnih ugrušaka, zahvaljujući jednom posebnom sastojku koji se zove ajoen.

Vrlo impresivna je sposobnost bijelog luka ka smanjenju krvnog tlaka.

Pretpostavlja se da alicin u sastavu češnjaka blokira aktivnost angiotensina, što sprečava nepoželjnu kontrakciju krvnih žila i rast krvnog tlaka.

Ljekovito djelovanje češnjaka na kardiovaskularni sustav je također povezano sa visokim sadržajem vitamina C, vitamina B6, selena i mangana.



Antiupalna svojstva češnjaka


Ne samo krvožilni sustav može imati koristi od anti-upalnih svojstava češnjaka. Uvodna istraživanja su pokazala da češnjak pozitivno djeluje i na koštani, mišićni i dišni sustav.

Dialil sulfid  i tiakremonon u sastavu bijelog luka pokazuju antireumatska svojstva. Češnjak je također izazvao poboljšanja kod upala uzrokovanih alergijama.

Druga istraživanja koja povezuju gojaznost s upalnim procesima u organizmu, potvrđuju da spojevi sumpora, koji sadrži češnjak, mogu sprečiti upalne procese koji potiču formiranje stanica masti.



Antibakterijska i antivirusna svojstva češnjaka


U povijesti medicine,antibakterijska i antivirusna svojstva češnjaka su legendarno poznata.

Češnjak i njegovi sastojci su podvrgnuti brojnim istraživanjima da bi se dokazalo njihovo djelovanje na infekcije uzrokovane bakterijama i virusima.  Njegovo antimikrobno djelovanje također uključuje gljivice i parazite.

Jedan od sastojka češnjaka - ajoen - pokazao se posebno učinkovitim u liječenju gljivice candida albicans.

Nedavna istraživanja češnjaka potvrdila su njegovo djelovanje na bakteriju Pseudomonas aeruginosa, kao i na mnoge druge bakterije.

Posebno zanimanje liječnika izaziva djelovanje češnjaka na bakterije rezistentne na moderne antibiotike.



Prevencija raka

Istraživanja potvrđuju da ova biljka ima značajna antikancerogena svojstva.

Redovito konzumiranje većih količina češnjaka  značajno smanjuje rizik od pojave mnogih vrsta raka.

Umjereno konzumiranje ove namirnice može poslužiti za prevenciju samo dvije vrste raka - rektuma i bubrega.

Takva razlika između "pojačanog" i "umjerenog" unosa češnjaka pokazuje da radi efikasne prevencije raka je ipak potrebno konzumirati veće količine ove namirnice, u čemu mogu pomoći kapsule ili tablete češnjaka.



Kako konzumirati češnjak


Da biste iskoristili ljekoviti potencijal češnjaka, zgnječite ga ili ga sitno narežite. To pospješuje oslobađanje posebnih enzima, koji pretvaraju alliin u allicin (sastojak koji je odgovoran za većinu ljekovitih svojstava češnjaka).

Da bi se oslobodila maksimalna količina allicina, ostavite zgnječeni ili narezani češnjak na  5 minuta prije nego što ga pojedete ili skuhate.

U većem unosu ove namirnice mogu vam pomoći kapsule ili tablete češnjaka.



Praktični savjeti


Alergija

Češnjak regulira rad imuniteta i sprečava upale izazvane alergijom. Pojačajte unos češnjaka 2 ili 3 tjedna prije početka sezonske alergije. Ako ga uzimate u kapsulama, preporučena doza za odrasle je 2-3 kapsule češnjaka dnevno.


Kašalj

Zbog svojih antibakterijskih svojstava, češnjak je odlično sredstvo protiv kašlja i  infekcija respiratornog trakta.


Dijabetes

Češnjak može pomoći u regulaciji razine šećera u krvi. Preporučuje se uzimati 1-2 kapsule češnjaka dnevno tijekom dužeg vremena.


Kolesterol

Prema istraživanjima, 600-900 mg (2 kapsule) češnjaka dnevno mogu pomoći sniziti razinu kolesterola do 18%.


Visoki tlak

Istraživanja su potvrdila da su ljudi koji su uzimali 2-3 kapsule češnjaka dnevno tijekom 5 mjeseci, kontrolirali razinu tlaka sa istom uspješnošću što i ljudi koji su uzimali propisane lijekove. Preporučena količina je 600-900 mg češnjaka dnevno.

Zubobolja

Češnjak ima svojstva analgetika i anestetika,  zbog čega može pomoći kod zubobolje. Jednostavno stavite komadić zgnječenog češnjaka na bolni zub, da biste dobili trenutno olakšanje (ne zaboravite poslije otiči kod zubara!).


Bradavice

Zbog svojih antimikrobnih svojstava, bijeli luk je odlično sredstvo protiv bradavica i drugih kožnih problema:

1. Uzmite svježi češanj bijelog luka i odrežite vrh.

2. Nekoliko sekundi trljajte bradavicu sa odrezanom stranom češnjaka.

Koje su nuspojave uzimanja češnjaka?


Većina ljudi neće imati nikakvih nuspojava tokom konzumiranja ove namirnice. Češnjak se pokazao sigurnim čak kod trudnica i dojilja. Kod dojenja, bebe su rado pile mlijeko od majki, koje su konzumirale češnjak.

Ipak, postoji kategorija ljudi, koji su alergični na češnjak. Naravno, u ovom slučaju, konzumiranje češnjaka se ne preporučuje.
